Spook and Sleigh sells costumes for the two best nights of the year: Halloween now, and the whole of December right after.

Why this store exists

Costume shopping online is a mess. Sizes are a guess, photos are borrowed, and half the listings are knockoffs of characters that get pulled the week you need them. We wanted a shop where a family can outfit everyone in one order, the dog included, and trust that the box fits and arrives before the doorbell rings.

What we do differently

• Sizes in inches, on every page. Costumes run small. We say so and tell you when to go up a size.
• Classics only. Witches, zombies, pirates, inflatable tacos, a lion mane for the retriever. No movie characters, no licensed knockoffs, nothing that disappears mid October.
• Straight answers on shipping. An order by date at the top of every page, tracking on every order, and a real person who replies if something goes sideways.
• The whole household. Women, men, kids, toddlers, couples, groups, dogs and cats, all in one cart.

Two seasons, one closet

When the pumpkins come down we switch over: matching family pajamas, ugly sweaters that are properly ugly, and a Santa suit for the dog. The Christmas collection opens November 1. Leave an email on the home page and we will tell you the day it lands.
